"I know Johnny feels the same way: He needs to see a script, but he would be happy -- if its the right script -- to put that hat and sword back on." The film's promotion is no longer trying to shirk from the fact that this is going to be a CGI-heavy production with lots and lots of aliens, and we're totally okay with that.
