I'm going as a nerd/geek to a fancy dress party but the theme is tv/films?

Is there any films which contain the stereotypical nerd, the type
which wears check shirts, braces (the one for clothes not teeth)
shorts ect.
Also i'm a female so it'll be great if the characters a girl (doen't
have to)
